A military household, (her father was the commanding officer of the North Nova Scotia Highlanders) taught her that unswerving determination was the route to the achievement of lofty goals.

Formal education took her in the direction of computer technology. She earned a degree in the computer field in the days of what is now ancient technology, but the COBOL training she has places her in demand today to fix the "Millennium Bug" problem.

All these things are of interest to her, but her first love is the field of Real Estate. It is here that she experiences the pleasure of seeing purchasers matched to the perfect acquisition.
